1.What does Allianz Privée do to protect your personal data?
Allianz Privée places great importance on the protection of your personal data (1), and we take every measure to ensure that you feel secure when visiting our website.
 
In the interest of full transparency, we wish to inform you about the data we collect, how this information is used, and how you can exercise your rights regarding your personal data. We also wish to inform you about the measures implemented to guarantee maximum security.
 
The Allianz Privée.fr website is fully secure: from the homepage onwards, you browse safely using an HTTPS address. HTTPS is a “secure hypertext transfer protocol” that ensures the confidentiality and integrity of data transmitted by the user.
 
The pages of the Allianz Privée.fr website on which your personal data is collected are subject to additional enhanced security measures.
 

2. Identity of the Data Controller

The data controller of your personal data, within the meaning of the applicable regulations on personal data protection, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter “GDPR”), is:

3. Why do we collect your personal data?

This policy applies to the collection and processing of your personal data, whether you are a prospect (to discuss our offers) or a client (to manage and monitor your contract), in compliance with the purposes and legal bases set out in the GDPR.

  • Management of communications with prospects regarding the Allianz Privée offer

    • Communications with individuals who have expressed their interest by SMS, email or phone call, where consent has been given and the contact originates from a partner or directly from the Allianz Privée website — Legal basis: Consent

4. What personal data do we collect and how do we collect it?

The data we use is collected either directly from you or, in certain cases, indirectly from third parties.

Indirect collection of personal data is carried out from the following sources:

  • Media and information freely accessible on social networks that has been manifestly made public by the data subject;

  • Our business partners, known as “business introducers,” who provide us exclusively with contact details of identified individuals within their network who are interested in the Allianz Privée offer;

  • Website browsing activity (via the placement of cookies).

Personal data is processed in compliance with the data minimization principle required by the GDPR.

The nature and scope of the personal data processed vary depending on the relationship you have with Allianz Privée, the main categories of which are:

  • Identification and contact data: title, last name, first name, date of birth, nationality, postal address, email address, telephone number, etc.

  • Data relating to the monitoring of the commercial relationship: your requests and exchanges with our services, including identification data, our telephone conversations, correspondence, requests for information, satisfaction surveys, and any other information you choose to provide to us.

  • Connection and browsing data

  • Data relating to your professional situation: professional category, occupation, type of contract, inactivity, working hours, high-risk occupation.

  • Data relating to your family situation, including marital status (marriage, civil partnership, cohabitation), household composition (number of household members, age), legal capacity and protection regime (minority, guardianship, curatorship).

  • Data relating to your economic, financial and asset situation (employment income, movable and immovable assets, tax data, bank details such as RIB/IBAN, composition of the tax household).

  • Data relating to lifestyle habits and use of property in connection with insured risks or the services offered.

  • Data necessary for entering into a contract between Allianz Privée and yourself.

  • More generally, all data required for the subscription and management of insurance contracts and for compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

Allianz Privée does not collect or process any “sensitive” data within the meaning of the GDPR. In addition, banking details are handled exclusively by our service provider; we do not have access to them.

5. Recipients of your personal data

For the purposes described above, the recipients of your personal data are:

 

  • Allianz Privée employees (only those who need access to the data in the performance of their duties) and its processors acting on its behalf;

  • Selected insurers and their intermediaries: relevant data is transmitted to these insurers in the context of preparing quotes and subscribing to insurance contracts;

  • Allianz Privée’s business partners (business introducers).

Allianz Privée may also be required to disclose your data to third parties where such disclosure is required by law, regulation or a judicial decision, or where it is necessary to protect and defend our rights.

Your data may also be transmitted to public authorities, for example in connection with suspicious transaction reports.

In the event that your personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area to countries that are not considered adequate under the GDPR, Allianz Privée implements appropriate safeguards to ensure the protection of personal data. If you wish to obtain information about these safeguards, please send your request to the address indicated in the section “Your contacts.”

6. Technical and organizational measures to protect your data

To protect your personal data, Allianz Privée implements appropriate technical and organizational measures, depending on the circumstances.

In particular, these measures may include:

  • The implementation of confidentiality commitments, in particular with service providers;

  • Training for Allianz Privée employees and its delegates on personal data protection;

  • Prohibiting employees and processors from copying personal data onto mobile storage media;

  • Preserving data integrity to protect it against malicious acts or accidental events through redundant backups (business recovery plans, logical or physical segmentation, etc.);

  • A business continuity plan to ensure that processing activities can be resumed within reasonable timeframes and to limit the consequences for customer contract management and commercial activity in the event of serious external incidents (natural or industrial disasters, strikes or social unrest, pandemics, etc.);

  • Conducting external audits and performing process controls to remedy any deficiencies identified;

  • Granting individual authorizations to employees for access to information systems and authentication of access to those systems;

  • Implementing access controls and surveillance of company premises;

  • Logging connection traces on information systems;

  • Limiting data retention periods, with deletion of data once the appropriate retention period has expired.

These technical and organizational measures are scalable and adapted to each information system within the operational environment.

The security of our website is ensured through the implementation of solutions for managing and blocking malicious robots (bots). These measures may involve the use of cookies to identify and prevent suspicious activity. Regular assessments of these practices are carried out to improve the detection of malicious bots. This transparency is essential to ensure optimal protection while respecting your privacy rights.

7.Retention period of your personal data

Your personal data is retained at a minimum for the duration necessary to carry out processing related to our contractual relationship. Beyond this relationship, retention periods are extended in order to comply with statutory limitation periods and legal and regulatory retention obligations.

For prospects who have consented to be contacted, the maximum retention period for data collected in order to communicate about the Allianz Privée offer is two (2) years from the date of the last contact between Allianz Privée and the prospect, unless you request the withdrawal of your consent or the deletion of your data.

8.Your rights regarding your personal data

At any time, you may exercise your rights with Allianz Privée by contacting the address indicated in the section “Your Contacts.”

  • Right to object: you may request that your personal data no longer be subject to a specific processing activity, except where the legal basis for the processing is a regulatory obligation or the performance of a contract.

  • Right to withdraw your consent: for all processing activities that require your explicit consent, you have the right to withdraw it at a later time.

  • Right of access to your personal data and to processing activities: you may request access from Allianz Privée to your personal data as well as to additional information relating to the processing carried out.

  • Right to rectification: you may exercise your right to rectification when your personal data are inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Right to erasure: you may request the erasure of your personal data at any time. However, such erasure is only possible if the purpose pursued has been completed and if the applicable regulatory retention periods allow it.

  • Right to restriction of processing: you may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data when you wish to suspend ongoing processing in order to preserve the integrity of such data for a given period until further notice.

  • Right to data portability: you may request a copy of the personal data you previously provided, in a structured format, so that they may be transmitted to the person of your choice. These data will then be transmitted by the data controller to that person in a digital format.

  • Right to define the post-mortem handling of your data: you may provide instructions regarding the retention, deletion, or disclosure of your data after your death.

If the response received does not satisfy you, or if no response is received, you may submit a complaint to the GPDP in accordance with the procedures described on their website.

9.Your Contacts

To exercise your rights or for any additional information or complaint, you may contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of Allianz Privée. To do so, simply write to us by email at: dataprivacy@allianzprivee.com.

The exercise of your rights is strictly personal and applies only to the requester on their own behalf, or to a legal guardian on behalf of a minor or a protected adult, such as a person under curatorship or legal guardianship. It cannot be exercised on behalf of another family member or someone living in the requester’s household without proof of a legal mandate granted to the requester by the data subject or other relevant supporting documentation.

Exercising these rights requires proof of identity, either by providing a copy of a valid identity document if you consent to do so, or through other authentication methods that may be requested by Allianz Privée.

10.Amendments to this policy

Allianz Privée may amend the data protection policy as necessary. We will ensure that you are informed in the event of any substantial modification (for example, by a specific notice on our website).
